Torrebesses has an incredible monumental complex made up of a castle, a Romanesque church and several Renaissance and Baroque homes in La Vileta, the old upper part of the city, which still conserves the old doorways and traditional street layout, which gives it a traditional feel. More than 400 dry stone constructions have been catalogued and inventoried throughout the town, the most significant ones being vaulted huts, cisterns, pools, wells and panholes, as well as 500 km of borders and rails. Many of these constructions were used to hold water or serve as a shelter in bad weather.

You can find a rich, varied architectural heritage of dry stone constructions in Torrebesses.
