The Xanascat hostel is in the heart of the Delta de l’Ebre Nature Park, a prime location where the countryside is one of the star attractions. The Ebro River and the Mediterranean Sea are the perfect setting for the lagoons, lookout points and rice paddies that are the hallmarks of the region and always have been.

Deltebre is a flat area ideal for bicycle rides, which is clearly one of the best means of transport! In addition to enjoying the landscape on bike, another good option is to follow the tracks of the old train line on the Terra Alta and Baix Ebre Greenway.

Plus, it's the perfect region for aquatic activities like canoeing, kayaking, windsurfing, sailing and more. And for bird-watching! You can see flocks of birds all year round, both those that live here and those that mate here, and you can marvel at the spring and autumn migrations.
