Learn about the Roman city via its architecture, sculpture, mosaics and personal everyday items from ancient Tarraco, the capital of the most important Roman province in Hispania, displayed at the National Archaeology Museum of Tarragona (MNAT). Thirteen elements in this complex, including the Palaeo-Christian Necropolis, the Els Munts and Centcelles Roman villas, Scipio's Tower, the Arch of Berà and the Roman theatre, all of which depend on the MNAT, were declared a World Heritage Site in 2000.
