The Àngel Guimerà House Museum, currently known as Cal Guimerà, was formerly known as Cal Ximet. This ancestral home of the Guimerà family was purchased by the poet and playwright’s great-grandfather in 1778. In 2015, it reopened with a new museographic project that shows the life and works of Àngel Guimerà, the most important Catalan playwright in the nineteenth century.
