The Iron and Coal Route Greenway goes by the hostel and connects you –either walking or on bike– to the two closest towns: Ripoll and Ogassa, a former mining town. From the hostel, you can take walks through the forests and meadows and climb peaks like Taga (2,040 m). It is halfway between Camprodon Valley and Ribes Valley, which are 15 and 25 minutes away, respectively. The Vallter2000 and Vall de Núria ski resorts and the entrances to the Ter and Freser Headwaters Natural Park are around a 40-minute car ride away.
